The Vredestein Ultrac is repeatedly praised for its impressive performance on both wet and dry roads. It boasts strong safety reserves for aquaplaning and short braking distances. However, its high fuel consumption and rapid wear limit its overall performance and lifespan. Despite these drawbacks, the Vredestein Ultrac is generally recommended as a solid summer tire option. Brought to you by reputable organizations such as ADAC, AutoBild, and TyreReviews.com, the Vredestein Ultrac has consistently proven to be a wet specialist with impressive wet handling and aquaplaning resistance, although this often comes at the cost of rolling resistance and external noise. In conclusion, if you prioritize safety and handling on wet roads, the Vredestein Ultrac may be the right summer tire for you.
Vredestein ULTRAC is made in 48 sizes, starting from 175/50 R15 up to 295/40 R21.

Vredestein ULTRAC was launched
The Vredestein Ultrac, a premium segment tyre, has been put through its paces in five rigorous tests by some of Europe's most revered organizations. The first test was conducted in 2022 and the latest in 2023, with varying dimensions and periods of testing. Despite its premium segment status, the Vredestein Ultrac received an overall rating of 82%, which could be considered disappointing.
In the tests, the Vredestein Ultrac had its best result in the Autozeitung Summer tyre test of 2022 for the 215/55 R17 dimension, where it secured second place out of 10. In comparison, the tyre's worst result was in the Tyre Reviews Summer tyre test of 2023 for the 205/55 R16 dimension, where it placed 9th out of 13.
Of the five tests, the Vredestein Ultrac emerged victorious in none. Nonetheless, it fared well in some disciplines. Specifically, in the ADAC Summer tyre test and the Autobild Summer tyre test of 2022 for the 185/65 R15 and 215/55 R17 dimensions, respectively, the tyre's dry braking and interior noise were deemed the best. In the Autobild Summer tyre test of 2022 for the 215/55 R17 dimension, the Vredestein Ultrac had the shortest wet braking distance, making it the best in that discipline.
Overall, while the Vredestein Ultrac did not perform exceptionally well in any of the tests, it still managed some respectable results in certain disciplines.
