Bridgestone Turanza 6

Summer
Premium
8.1 /10 Recommended

The Turanza 6 is quite a new addition to Bridgestone’s lineup, being introduced in 2023. Featuring the new ENLITEN technology, it should be lighter and have positive effect on fuel efficiency. In the tests, the efficiency is confirmed alongside with higher mileage. That being said, it somehow lacks the performance of other premium tyres, so we would recommend it only when the price is lower.

Pros & Cons

Strengths

Superior aquaplaning and wet braking properties that ensure safety in rainy conditions.

Balanced high performance on both dry and wet roads, offering sporty, dynamic handling with short braking distances.

Excellent fuel efficiency thanks to its low rolling resistance and lightweight design, which contributes to reduced fuel consumption.

Outstanding durability with low wear and high predicted mileage for extended tire life.

Versatile grip that performs reliably across varied terrains, including light off-road conditions.

Weaknesses

Slight limitations in high-end wet traction—while wet braking is strong, the tire shows reduced lateral grip during aggressive cornering on wet surfaces.

Mild underperformance in peak conditions; the balanced design can result in marginally lower dry and wet grip when pushed to the limits.

Average overall economic value—despite fuel efficiency, some reviewers find its cost-effectiveness to be only moderate.
