Semperit Master-Grip 2 in tyre tests
The Semperit Master-Grip 2, a low-cost segment tyre, has been tested by some of Europe's most valued organizations that test tyres. The tests were conducted over a period of two years, from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, the tyre was tested twice in winter conditions, in dimensions 195/65 R15 and 175/65 R14, by Autobild and ADAC respectively. Autobild ranked the Semperit Master-Grip 2 12th out of 20 and 8th out of 51 tested tyres, while ADAC positioned it 11th out of 12 and 16th out of 16 tested tyres. The best discipline in which the Semperit Master-Grip 2 performed in both Autobild tests was snow cornering, while in ADAC testing, it had the best results in ice braking and snow braking. In addition, the Semperit Master-Grip 2 won no tests, but was rated satisfactory or sufficient in all tests, earning an overall rating of 59%, which is not an impressive result for a low-cost segment tyre.
