In this review, we are comparing two tyres; the Firestone Roadhawk and the Gt Radial Fe2. Our team has tested these tyres rigorously to provide an accurate comparison.

Firestone Roadhawk

The Firestone Roadhawk is an interesting proposition. Our rating of this tyre is 59%. According to our tests in collaboration with Autobild, this tyre performed effectively on dry roads and showed exceptional efficiency and minimal wear and tear, securing the 12th position out of 55. However, the Roadhawk model recorded significant shortcomings on wet surfaces, thus indicating an unbalanced performance which led to a lower overall rank in the ADAC's test where it came in the 20th position out of 50. Gt Radial Fe2

On the other hand, the Gt Radial Fe2, a UHP subType, could not score in our rating due to several limitations observed during the tests. The tyre showed uniform good behavior on dry roads and decent efficiency. However, it showed significant weaknesses on wet roads. Autobild's test had it placed at the 19th position out of 55 but ADAC’s test saw it waning at the 22nd position out of 50 due to the worse overall environmental impact and lower durability. Verdict

Aggregating the results, in terms of overall performance and positions in mutual tests, the Firestone Roadhawk outperforms GT Radial Fe2 in our comparative tests. The strengths of the Firestone Roadhawk's performance on dry roads and low wear make it a safer bet over the Gt Radial Fe2, which culminated underwhelming performance on wet roads, lousy mileage, and concerns on environmental impact.

Remember that tyre purchase decisions should also consider your driving habits, local climate, and car specifications. Always ensure the tyre's specifications match your vehicle's requirements.
