Today, we are comparing two summer tyres, the Falken ZIEX ZE310 Ecorun and the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2. These tyres are manufactured by Falken and Pirelli, respectively, and are known for their high performance and quality.
The Falken ZIEX ZE310 Ecorun, made in Turkey, is a summer touring tyre widely appreciated for its low rolling resistance and good aquaplaning characteristics. However, it possesses a slightly higher price level and slightly extended dry braking distances.
In the Autozeitung test, the Falken model managed to grab the 6th position out of 9 for its impressive dry lane changing capacity. The Pirelli tyre outshone again, securing the 2nd position for its exceptional dry braking feature.
The Tyre Reviews gave the Falken ZIEX ZE310 Ecorun positive remarks for its comfort while the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 stood out for its excellent wet handling. However, both tyres showed some environmental efficiency and sustainability weaknesses.
The ADAC test showed a noticeable difference in the performance of these tyres; the Falken ZIEX ZE310 Ecorun managing a good 6th position out of 50, while the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 lagged behind at the 17th position.
