Today, we are comparing two summer tyres, the Continental ContiPremiumContact 5, and the Fulda EcoControl HP. The Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 is a high-quality tyre with excellent performance, rated at 90% in our tests. It is manufactured in the Czech Republic, and has been replaced by the newer model, the Continental PremiumContact 6. On the other hand, the Fulda EcoControl HP has a rating of 81%, and also has a newer version, the Fulda EcoControl HP2.
In the Autobild test, where 50 different tyres were compared, the Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 scored 9th place, while the Fulda EcoControl HP outperformed it and took 7th place. Notably, the Fulda EcoControl HP's best features were its mileage and price/value ratio.
