Michelin's summer range covers everything from eco-focused touring tyres to genuine ultra-high-performance rubber, and rather than trying to list every size and variant on sale, we've narrowed this overview down to the models that have actually appeared in recent independent tests. The four below represent Michelin's most relevant current summer tyres across the touring, performance, efficiency, and SUV segments.

The Michelin Primacy 5 is Michelin's latest touring tyre, replacing the well-regarded Primacy 4+ (itself a successor to the Primacy 4 and Primacy 3), and it has already been through five tests in 2026 with a broadly consistent picture. Autoexpress found it the most economical tyre on test with the lowest rolling resistance and solid wet braking, though it finished last in dry handling with a notably soft steering response. Die Reifentester echoed the efficiency strength, tying it with Bridgestone for best rolling resistance, while flagging weaker dry braking and a tendency to understeer. AvD rated it "velmi doporučeno" with the best measured dry handling in its field and strong economy, and TYRE REVIEWS praised its quiet, comfortable character and strong straight-line aquaplaning resistance, though grip-focused results were generally mid-pack. Automotorsport summed up the pattern well, describing very balanced, safe handling — especially in the wet — but with somewhat longer dry braking distances and a comfort shortfall from limited damping.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 5 sits at the performance end of the lineup, succeeding the Pilot Sport 4 and Pilot Sport 3, and has built up a strong five-test track record since 2025. Autobild has rated it "příkladné" twice, praising its dynamic handling in both wet and dry conditions and strong durability, albeit with a premium price tag and slightly elevated road noise. Autozeitung rated it "velmi doporučeno" in 2025, and Sportauto's 2026 test found precise, dependable dry handling with the best steering response in the field, though it noted weaker wet cornering grip, some rear-end sensitivity to sudden load changes in the wet, and the weakest longitudinal aquaplaning result in that particular test.

For drivers prioritising efficiency, the Michelin e.Primacy has built a track record across four tests since 2023. Automotorsport rated it "velmi dobré" twice, highlighting balanced, precise dry handling, direct steering, and standout fuel efficiency and quietness, while noting longer braking distances and weaker wet cornering grip. Its 2023 test also praised strong wet braking and low rolling resistance, offset by limited ride comfort. ADAC's 2023 test told a more mixed story: while it awarded top marks for sustainability, mileage, low abrasion, and efficiency, it ultimately rated the tyre only "dostatečné" overall due to weaknesses on both dry and especially wet roads.

Rounding out the range for SUV drivers is the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV, which has amassed an impressive five-test history since 2023, including an outright "Testsieger" win at Autobild that year for its top-tier wet and dry handling, strong aquaplaning safety margins, and precise turn-in. Vibilagare named it test winner again in 2025, and Autobild has rated it "příkladné" as recently as 2024, citing a well-rounded, premium performance level with excellent aquaplaning safety and short wet and dry braking distances, with only moderate sand traction as a weak point. More recent 2025 and 2026 Autobild tests have settled into "dobré" ratings, still praising its aquaplaning reserves, gravel traction, and comfortable ride, while noting limited load capacity and some restrictions in off-road side grip.
