However, the tyre's unsporty performance and lack of side grip on wet roads were criticized.


The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 scored fourth place out of 10 tyres in the Autozeitung test, performing exceptionally in dry braking. However, the Nexen N fera Sport attained the last position, with a notable advantage in exterior noise. In the ADAC test, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ranked second out of 16 tyres and the Nexen N fera Sport secured fifth place, both tyres performing well in mileage.


Verdict
In summary, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 shines in terms of its wet and dry handling, aquaplaning, and comfort, making it an excellent choice for premium summer tyres. However, it comes with a higher price tag. Conversely, the Nexen N fera Sport is a commendable alternative for those seeking good value for their money, as it provides a decent performance in aquaplaning prevention, exterior noise, and wet braking.
