For drivers seeking a reliable and quality set of tyres, we will venture into the features of two key players in the market: the Continental PremiumContact 6 manufactured by Continental and the Cooper Zeon CS8 by Cooper Tires.

The Continental PremiumContact 6, made in SK, DE and CZ, is a touring summer tyre that has earned an impressive our rating of 87%. As per our thorough tests and analyses, it ranked 2nd out of 50 tyres in the ADAC test and even captured the top spot in the Autobild test. In the Automotorsport test, it bagged the 2nd position out of 11 tyres, excelling in dry handling particularly. Its strength lies in its balance, offering high driving safety, and garnering stellar marks for its performance both on dry and wet surfaces according to AutoZeitung 2019. Despite its efficiency falling a bit short, it boasts a high mileage. The Continental PremiumContact 7, its successor, trying to enhance on these features even more.

Moving onto the Cooper Zeon CS8, this summer tyre crafted in GB has some strengths and weaknesses. Our rating for this model stands at 56%. In the different tests, it landed the 33rd spot out of 50 in the ADAC test and 19th out of 52 in the Autobild test. The Automotorsport test brought a bit disappointing results with its position being 9th out of 11 tested tyres. Its advantage lies in its performance on wet roads as noted by AutoZeitung 2019. However, it revealed quite a few shortcomings including significant weaknesses on dry surfaces leading to a lower overall score. Additionally, the tyre's lower efficiency, limited sustainability and lower mileage figure as other areas of concern.

In conclusion, the Continental PremiumContact 6 stands out as the superior option between the two, showcasing an impressive grip and performing exceptionally on both dry and wet surfaces. Its successor - the Continental PremiumContact 7 continues to uphold its legacy. On the other hand, the Cooper Zeon CS8, whilst cheaper, might not be suitable for all due to its limitations, particularly on dry road performance.
