In this article, we compare two summer tyres – the Avon ZV7 and the Kleber Dynaxer HP4. We will summarize the data from various tyre tests, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their overall performance. By the end of this article, you will have a clearer understanding of which tyre performs better in different tests.

According to our rating system, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 scores 78%, while the Avon ZV7 has a lower score of 64%. It is important to note that neither of these tyres have been replaced by newer models.

In the ADAC test, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 ranked 12th out of 50 tyres, while the Avon ZV7 was positioned at a lower 42nd place. The Autobild 2018 test gave a mixed review for both tyres. The Avon ZV7 was praised for being relatively economical but criticized for its poor overall performance on dry roads, low mileage, high wear, and weak sustainability. On the other hand, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 was complimented for its good environmental performance, wear, efficiency, and mileage but was challenged for its balance on wet roads.

In the Autobild 2022 test, Kleber Dynaxer HP4 excelled in aquaplaning properties, short wet and dry braking distances, and driving comfort. However, it exhibited mediocre grip on wet surfaces, delayed steering response, and an understeering driving behavior on dry roads. During the same test, Avon ZV7 ranked 25th out of 53 tyres, whereas Kleber Dynaxer HP4 secured the 14th position. Both tyres were praised for their exterior noise levels, while the Kleber tyre received extra points for its driving comfort.

The ACE test results placed the Avon ZV7 in 9th place out of 9 tyres with a notable strength in exterior noise. The Kleber Dynaxer HP4 performed better, ranking 6th out of 9 tyres in the same test, and also scoring high in exterior noise levels.

Overall, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 appears to have a better performance in many tests compared to the Avon ZV7. It scores higher in brake performance, environmental characteristics, wear, and efficiency. However, its performance on wet surfaces and steering response may not be ideal. On the other hand, the Avon ZV7 is relatively more economical but suffers from weaknesses on dry roads, low mileage, and sustainability issues. Given the test results and reviews, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 seems to be the better choice among these two tyres for overall performance and reliability.
