I would skip tire dressings and shine products: Continental says these are unnecessary before storage and may hinder tire longevity. Keep gasoline, oils, and solvents away from the tires. Check for damage and objects lodged in the tread before putting them away. Choose a cool, dry indoor space away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep tires away from ozone sources, including electric motors with contact brushes. Store tires without wheels upright; never hang them. Tires mounted on wheels can lie flat or hang on suitable storage supports. Before the next season, have a tire professional inspect them and check inflation against the vehicle owner's manual or tire pressure placard.
