Hankook is now supplying its Ventus S1 evo Z as original equipment (OE) for the new Porsche Panamera across its full 19- to 21-inch size range. This marks the first time this tyre covers all available Panamera fitments. Two new 21-inch sizes, marked ‘ND0’ on the sidewall, have been introduced: 275/35 ZR21 (103Y) XL for the front axle and 325/30 ZR21 (108Y) XL for the rear. Hankook has supplied 19- and 20-inch sizes for the Panamera since 2021, and these fitments continue on the updated model.

Aramid fibres, known for their extreme heat resistance, are incorporated to prevent carcass deformation under thermal load. Unchecked, this deformation would increase rolling circumference and reduce steering precision at sustained high speeds — making carcass stability a key criterion for a tyre fitted to a high-performance saloon. High-strength steel belts in the tread and bead areas, coupled with a reinforced sidewall, contribute to straight-line stability and steering accuracy.
Its asymmetric tread pattern features a higher tread-positive ratio on the outer shoulder for enhanced dry cornering grip and lateral guidance. Three main drainage grooves on the inner tread area are designed for efficient water evacuation on wet surfaces.
Market Context
The Ventus S1 evo Z also serves as OE equipment on the Porsche 911 Carrera, a fitment confirmed in July 2026. In the aftermarket, the tyre is available in 15 sizes ranging from 18 to 21 inches, with tread widths from 225 to 315 mm and aspect ratios from 30 to 45. Panamera owners replacing their OE tyres will need to source the ND0 sizes through Porsche-authorised dealers rather than regular tyre retailers, ensuring they receive the exact factory-approved fitment.
