The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance SUV Gen-1 has undergone rigorous testing by some of Europe's most respected tyre testing organizations. The tests spanned from 2016 to 2021, and the tyre has consistently received a high rating. This tyre is classified as a premium segment tyre. Among the tests conducted, the tyre performed best in the Offroad Winter tyre test 2020 255/55 R19, where it took the top spot out of 6 competitors. It also performed well in the Autozeitung Winter tyre test 2021 235/55 R18, taking the 6th position out of 10 tyres tested.
