The Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 is a premium segment tyre that has been tested by some of Europe's most renowned tyre testers. The tests date back to 2015, and the tyre has consistently achieved good results. The tyre has been tested in different dimensions and during various winter seasons. In 2021 and 2019, the Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 was ranked first out of 16 tyres in the ADAC Winter tyre tests for 195/65 R15 and 185/65 R15 respectively. In the same 2019 test, it was also the best tyre in numerous disciplines, including aquaplaning-cross, dry braking, ice braking, and snow handling, among others. Additionally, it was also rated highly recommended by the Autozeitung Winter tyre test in 2015. However, not all tests have shown the same level of success, as shown in the 2022 ADAC Winter tyre test for 185/65 R15, where it ranked 12th out of 16.
